The BKV – with the Zugligeti Libegő – will join the national event again on July 13, because fans of the unusual experience are once again waiting for them on Saturday evening. A limited number of tickets for the event can now be purchased at the Deák tér Underground Railway Museum.
The Zugligeti Libegő is waiting for hikers again after a longer technical renovation. Hungary’s first passenger cable car is 1,040 meters long, and the height difference between its two stations is 262 meters. On a hilly ride you can reach the highest point of the capital, János Hill, and on a valley ride it offers a unique view of Budapest.
On July 13, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., you can take a cable car to János mountain. The thrill of traveling at night and the sight of the illuminated capital promise an unusual experience – the statement highlights.
The event can be visited with a HUF 5,000 return ticket for this occasion. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Underground Railroad Museum, cash only. Child and student tickets cannot be exchanged for the event, travel is free for children under 3 years of age. More information on purchasing tickets is available on the BKV website.
