On August 6th, the inner and middle lanes were closed on the Hungária Boulevard overpass heading towards the M3 entrance. Traffic can flow in the outer lane and on the tram tracks towards the Rákóczi Bridge.

In the direction towards the M3 entrance, the previously closed outer lane has been opened to traffic, while the middle and inner lanes have been closed. Traffic will also be allowed to proceed on the tram tracks.

The sidewalk on the overpass remains closed. Pedestrians can cross the overpass using tram line 1. Cyclists can reach Városliget from Róbert Károly Boulevard via Vágány Street – Dózsa György Road – Állatkerti Boulevard.

The asphalt pavement in the middle lane will be milled off, and the deck slab insulation will be removed. After the repair work on the reinforced concrete deck slab, new insulation and asphalt pavement will be installed, and the expansion joints will also be replaced. The expansion joints are being replaced in the inner lane.

Warning signs will be placed to alert drivers to the restrictions. Next to the work area, a speed limit of 30 km/h will be in effect. Due to the lane closures, traffic congestion is expected, and we ask for the understanding and patience of commuters. To minimize inconvenience, the renovation is being carried out during the summer school break when road traffic is usually lighter.
