On Sunday, the daily average temperature may rise above 27 degrees Celsius in Bács-Kiskun, Csongrád-Csanád, and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties, and on Monday and Tuesday, this could happen in larger parts of the country, wrote HungaroMet Zrt. in its warning sent to MTI on Saturday.
The meteorological service has issued a second-degree (orange) warning for Sunday for the areas of Bács-Kiskun, Csongrád-Csanád, and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties, where the daily average temperature may exceed 27 degrees Celsius. In Baranya, Somogy, Tolna, Fejér, Pest, Heves, Békés, Hajdú-Bihar, and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg counties, a first-degree warning is in effect, with the daily average temperature expected to be above 25 degrees.
For Monday, second-degree warnings have been issued for Baranya, Tolna, Bács-Kiskun, Csongrád-Csanád, Békés, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, and Hajdú-Bihar counties due to the expected high average temperatures.
On Tuesday, the average temperature may exceed 27 degrees in additional counties: for this day, second-degree warnings are also in effect for Fejér and Pest counties due to high average temperatures.
